Sony Creative Software to Unveil New 3D Blu-ray Authoring Tools at NAB
With Blu-ray and 3D presenting complex new production challenges as we head into NAB 2010, industry leader Sony Creative Software is gearing up to unveil new 3D Blu-ray authoring enhancements to Blu-print 6 that will provide professionals with powerful tools for 3D Blu-ray Disc content production. In addition to demonstrations of the new 3D Blu-ray authoring tools, Sony Creative Software will also showcase Vegas Pro 9 in booth C10515 Central Hall, and will provide demonstrations for creative and broadcast professionals including a first look at new features and enhancements that will be available in the Vegas Pro 9.0d software update coming soon. Q: Any hope for optional internal or external I/O for good monitoring?
A: Yes, we work great with both the AJA and BlackMagic HDSDI cards. These work great for outputting your project for viewing on a hi-def reference monitor.
Green Production Tip of the Month
Try to schedule your productions during pleasant weather, rather than unbearable heat. Then you can eliminate the need for running extra air condition, between takes, of course. And you won’t need to provide a cooled space for cast and crew either. The average person puts out 400 BTUs of heat per hour.
